About the artist

Emily Krikava is an artist and public high school teacher who lives and works in North Minneapolis. Krikava works in woodcut printmaking, using the color reduction process, printing each layer of ink by hand.She is currently exploring the connection between the relief printing process and sgraffito technique in ceramics. She is interested in fostering shared moments of delight through her work and looks forward to offering workshops in relief printmaking and ceramics.
